Role Summary: A pioneering environmental/sustainability company that operates across the globe is on the lookout for a Public Relations Manager. This role is perfect for someone eager to address significant environmental challenges through innovative communication strategies and who believes in the power of business to drive positive change. Must be able to speak French & English and understand both media markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team of PR professionals to elevate the company's narrative and its partners.
- Oversee strategic media relations campaigns in English and French-speaking markets, primarily targeting the UK, the Republic of Ireland, and France.
- Collaborate with internal teams and brand partners to develop and implement robust PR strategies.
- Engage with media outlets, craft compelling press releases, and manage media responses.
- Be prepared to act as a spokesperson and create various communication materials.
- Evaluate industry trends to optimize communication strategies for the company’s benefit.
- Manage a multitude of projects, ensuring attention to detail and organizational finesse.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in Public Relations with strong connections to UK, Irish, or French media.
- Fluent in English and French, with additional European languages beneficial.
- Proven track record in leading successful PR campaigns on local and national levels.
- Demonstrable management experience with strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with modern campaign technologies.
- A degree in PR, journalism, marketing, business, management, or equivalent experience.
- A passion for sustainability is a plus.
