PR Manager - International Financial Services Association

The client: International Financial Services Association
This organisation promotes the varied international business and investment opportunities for the region. It fosters strong engagement with international and local members, while supporting innovative new product development to maintain their place at the forefront of financial services.
 
The role: PR Manager
This new role will partner SLT, content, social & brand specialists to develop and implement a PR strategy to improve the international reputation of the association and attract new members. 
 
This role works in flat team structure which offers excellent exposure to senior leadership to create strategy and advise on responses to reputational issues but also drive through campaigns, draft press assets, lead on media monitoring, media relations, internal comms and supporting additional marketing materials. 
 
Therefore, it will suit candidates that enjoy the full cycle of PR activities and no ego environments.  Candidates who can translate complex financial topics from suitable consultancies, journalists or inhouse teams would all be considered.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver a public relations plan including strategy.
  • Develop a media relations strategy and drive outreach.
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations and other PR copy.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Create daily and weekly newsletters/news briefings for members.
  • Develop and execute an internal member communications plan.
 
The Package:
  • Suggested salary depending on experience of $80-100k.
