Job Opportunity: Account Manager - Senior Account Director - Corporate Communications 

My client, a leading strategic communications consultancy, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Communications Consultant with a specific focus on real estate, construction, energy and financial services. This role is perfect for a proactive and driven individual looking to thrive in a fast-paced, growing agency environment.

  • Salary: £40k-£65k 
  • Location: Central London, hybrid working 3 days in the office

About the Role

In this role, you will be working with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from industry-leading enterprises to innovative start-ups. You will take on a variety of responsibilities, from building and maintaining strong client relationships to managing integrated communication strategies. This position requires someone who is not only comfortable juggling multiple projects but who also enjoys taking initiative, overseeing teams, and contributing to new business development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring a high standard of service and responsiveness
  • Managing account teams to deliver core objectives, such as developing content calendars and executing strategic plans
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to retain and grow client accounts through innovative communication strategies
  • Identifying new opportunities to add value to clients’ business and build long-term relationships
  • Devising creative campaigns and content ideas, securing media coverage, and organising stakeholder meetings
  • Drafting high-quality content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media updates, and podcasts
  • Supporting new business pitches, networking, and identifying potential client opportunities

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in a successful communications consultancy or an equivalent in-house role
  • Deep understanding of the real estate, construction, energy, and/or financial services sectors
  • A strong network of media contacts and the ability to leverage this network for clients
  • Passion for communications, excellent writing skills, and a flair for digital media
  • Creative thinker with a strong analytical mindset and an interest in data and research
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and media

Location & Working Arrangements

  • Based in a prime location in the City of London
  • Flexibility in working arrangements, but with a strong emphasis on in-office collaboration
  • Travel to client meetings and events across the UK when required
  • Occasional irregular hours or overtime to meet client project deadlines
