An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager with a strong PR background to join a dynamic and purpose-driven creative agency. This agency specialises in developing brands and campaigns that drive positive social change, working across sectors including government, charity, and private organisations.

  • Salary: Up to c.£38k-£40k 
  • Location: Central London, 3 days in the office

The Role: The agency is seeking an Account Manager who excels in PR to play a key role in managing and delivering integrated campaigns. Working closely with Account Directors and Senior Account Directors, the successful candidate will contribute to strategic planning, build strong client relationships, and drive impactful storytelling through media and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple integrated accounts, overseeing campaign delivery from ideation to execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across social media, creative, planning, and client services to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and strategic guidance.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and expanding client connections.
  • Stay ahead of evolving media and digital landscapes, leveraging contacts across national and consumer media to secure impactful coverage.
  • Develop and adapt media relations strategies, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
  • Network with key industry influencers and spokespeople to enhance PR opportunities.
  • Utilise excellent writing skills to craft compelling press materials and campaign narratives.
  • Actively contribute to day-to-day media relations efforts as part of a collaborative team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an agency environment, with recent experience in an Account Manager role within PR.
  • A background working across government, charity, and commercial sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with confidence in client interactions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively and problem-solve when challenges arise.
  • Skilled in research and analysis, incorporating evaluation metrics into campaign strategies.
  • Financially literate with an understanding of agency profitability and budget management.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, with experience in tools like Paprika and Contact databases.
