NEW Account Director or Senior Account Director Role | Financial Services

My client, an award-winning independent PR Agency in London, are looking for a new Account Director or Senior Account Director to join their Financial Services team after recent new business wins! The successful candidate will lead high-impact campaigns for a prestigious portfolio of financial services clients. These clients span a variety of sectors, including banking, fintech, insurance, and pensions, offering exciting opportunities to make a significant impact in the industry.

  • Central London. Hybrid (3/2)
  • £50,000 - £65,000 (depending on level & experience) + bonus and benefits
  • Split between clients will be 80% B2C and 20% B2B.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Partnerships: Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients, providing strategic advice tailored to their unique needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Campaign Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive, audience-focused messaging strategies and multi-channel campaigns, covering corporate, consumer, and B2B communications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate junior team members, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Excellence in Delivery: Oversee the delivery of exceptional campaigns that meet the highest standards, ensuring continued client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify new opportunities to deepen client relationships, take the lead on pitch development, and secure new business to support agency growth.
  • Integrated Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the agency to create innovative, results-driven campaigns that exceed client expectations.

About you:

  • Expertise in B2C financial campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of financial journalists and publications.
  • My client are open to a Senior Account Manager who is ready to take the next step, or an already established AD/SAD.
  • Open to someone who is looking to work 4 days per week. Hybrid 2/2.
  • A proactive and driven attitude with the ability to take initiative and stay motivated.
  • Strong ability to think outside the box and offer creative solutions to client challenges.
  • Proven experience in delivering and managing impactful PR campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • A keen interest in understanding the broader factors impacting clients' businesses, such as trends, technology, market conditions, and profitability.
