NEW ROLE: Associate Director/Director - Policy & Corporate Comms - Net zero/sustainability
Location: London (minimum two days in-office, hybrid working)
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000

An award-winning public affairs and communications consultancy is looking for a ASD or Director to drive business growth, lead impactful campaigns, and influence policy in the journey towards a net-zero future. This is a unique opportunity to shape regulatory and legislative change, ensuring that UK infrastructure is fit for decarbonisation.
The Role
The Director will play a pivotal role in expanding the infrastructure client base, delivering high-impact strategies for organisations looking to influence legislation and policy. A commercial mindset is essential—40 percent of this role is focused on new business development, building relationships, and identifying opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading business development, securing new clients, and driving revenue growth
- Delivering strategic public affairs and communications campaigns
- Providing high-level political strategy and regulatory insights
- Developing and managing a team while shaping company culture
- Engaging with policymakers, journalists, businesses, and NGOs
Who Should Apply?
This role is suited to an entrepreneurial leader with:
- At least eight years of experience in public affairs, communications, or policy (agency experience preferred)
- A proven track record of securing and managing new business opportunities
- Strong UK political, regulatory, and media knowledge
- Expertise in infrastructure-related issues, such as energy, water, and housing
- A strong network across government, media, and industry
